Best Places for Nightlife in Barcelona, Spain

The nightlife in Barcelona is popularly known all over the world for its elaborate venues and dancing. The city has a great mix of old-world culture and nightlife and it’s impossible not to enjoy it when it gets dark–whether you’re looking to party or not. The best part? You have a number of different options available for you to enjoy no matter what kind of night you are looking to have. Here are some of my favorite options below!

Carrer dels Almogàvers, 122

+34 933 20 8200

Considered one of the best nightclubs in Barcelona, Razzmatazz offers five venues all in one building. Head first to the “Loft” if you want to hear Electro, Techno, and Dubstep beats while Lolita offers a mixture of Electropop, Electronica, House, and Nu-Disco. After that, head to the Razz Club for Indie music or the Pop Bar, which plays its namesake. However, the main area is the Rex Room, which is also a live-music stage welcoming plenty of A-list artists.

This club is also popularly called “CDLC” and offers party-goers a glamorous night. The club is located at a beachside spot and is used as a restaurant during the day. During the night, it becomes a top spot for nightcrawlers. If you plan on spending the entire day there, you can reserve day beds in advance where you can lounge with your friends while sipping some delicious drinks. The club is also frequented by both local and international celebrities. If you’re lucky, you might even spot one of them.

Sala Apolo

Sala Apolo is among the most authentic nightclubs in Barcelona. Once a theater, it dates back to the early 20th century. The club hosts varieties of events worth checking out, including Nasty Mondays–a chance for you to dance to music styles from Rock to Indie. The Sala Apolo is located close to Avinguda del Parallel in the historic center where you can also catch a show earlier in the day if you would like. Also, before you begin your night out, check out the many tapas bars located in the area.

This nightclub is open all year and is a top destination where you can enjoy Techno and Electronic music. Moog also has some historic roots–it helped to introduce Electronic music to the city in the mid-1990s. The club hosts some of the biggest names in the House, Electro, and Techno scene. While it can get a bit crowded, it’s worth it for the unique vibe and the chance to see some amazing artists.

This café is a cozy venue and can be found in the heart of the Gothic Quarter. It offers a great alternative to the Electronic music scene in Barcelona since it also features Soul, Jazz, R&B, and Afrobeat. Marula Café also features a laid-back and friendly atmosphere and has become a hot spot among both locals and tourists. Jamboree Live Music

Jamboree is well-known as one of the best Jazz clubs in the city (while you can also enjoy R&B and Hip Hop).
